Imagine if you were walking down the street one day and you see a sign "FREE HUGS", what would you be thinking?
- what are these people thinking?
- who needs a hug?
- awwww, just in time =)
I remember watching this video some years ago and I thought, WOW, this is awesome. It just popped into my head and so I wanted to share this with you in case you haven't seen it yet!
Watching this video gives me the shivers because it brings out a side of people we don't see every day. The joy, laughter, smiles and fun is apparent on faces of people in the video, but how often do we see that from a regular stranger? In reality, no matter how strong and independent people appear, deep down they want to be loved and cared for.
Here are few choices for you now that you have seen the power of a simple hug:
- Go to your family and tell them how much you love them, then hug
- Go to your friends and tell them how much you love them, then hug
- Start a "Free Hugs" experiment and bring some joy to the people in your community
